Most designs take three to six months, from our first site visit to drawings ready for council and builder pricing. Larger or more complex homes can take longer, and I’ll give you a realistic timeline from the start. Construction time then depends on your builder and the scale of the build.

Budget comes up in our very first conversation, not at the end. I give you early cost guidance as the design develops, so there are no surprises when quotes come in. The finished drawings are ready for builders to price, or for a quantity surveyor to cost in detail.

I prepare the drawings and documents you need for planning and building approval, and I work closely with your certifier, town planner and other consultants to keep things moving. I don’t lodge the applications myself, but you’ll never be left to work it out alone.

I design for the way we actually live here: catching the breeze, shading the western sun and bringing in soft northern light. It keeps a home comfortable and cheaper to run. Where it suits the project, I’ll also point you towards materials that are local, recycled or responsibly made.

Yes, and it’s one of my favourite parts. Designing the interiors alongside the architecture makes the whole thing feel like one home, not a building with furniture added later. That covers layouts, finishes, fixtures and selections, all shaped around how you live.

You work with me directly, from the first sketch to the final drawings. I focus on design and documentation, which keeps the process personal, flexible and clear on cost. My visualisation background also means you’ll see your home in realistic 3D before anything is built.
