About:

Central Queensland has no local wildlife hospital. Each year an estimated 2,000 native animals, including hundreds of koalas, die in the region simply because specialised veterinary care is more than ten hours away. The Koala Territory Foundation came to Studio Valenza with a vision to change that. The project is the design of a dedicated koala and wildlife hospital in Capricornia, giving injured and diseased wildlife a real chance of survival by bringing care close to home. Working with a cause close to home, this is pro bono design work in support of a foundation that Studio Valenza has a longstanding connection with.
