The client came to me with an established laundromat concept already running in Southport and had secured a second site. The brief was clear: improve the design language, tighten the documentation, and build a template that could roll out across future locations. Working within a compact retail shell, the full scope of work took the project from initial concept through to construction documentation, balancing the functional demands of a self-service laundromat with a considered interior aesthetic. Polished concrete floors, soft curves, integrated greenery, and warm neutral tones transform what is typically a purely utilitarian environment into something calm and welcoming. The Toowoomba fitout serves as the prototype for the Laundré rollout.
